Home Depot doesn't carry giftwrap.
But Lowe's does, although that information is totally irrelevant to this post. Being The Dude that I am I went ahead and wrapped the mother's day vest for my bud. I ran out of ribbon who-knows-when, so I wrapped some yarn around the package and made a whimsical (if someone says it's sloppy, say "oh no, it's whimsical!") pompom and attached it. I wish I could watch her try to open it... she's going to need scissors.

Who needs ribbon?

If you are making the Flying Afghan from the 2006 Crochet Pattern-a-day Calendar here is the total yardage needed to complete the entire project:
18 oz - Walnut 127
15 oz - Spice 135
15 oz - Willow 173
18 oz - Nantucket 178

note: I have made every effort to estimate accurately the amount of yarn needed. I cannot be responsible for differences in style, gauge, etc, that will effect the final amount you will need.
